HCC/Allen Student Early Arrival: Begins Friday, January 8
New UNI Student Move-in Day: Friday, January 15
First Day of Classes: Tuesday, January 19
Check in at your respective Mail & Information Desk. If you arrive outside of business hours, call the phone number posted on all exterior doors of the dorm building.
If you are new to UNI, you will receive your ID at check-in if you had submitted your picture at least a week prior to move-in. Please bring another picture ID at check-in so we can provide your UNI ID to you. If you did not submit a photo prior to arrival, please visit the Housing & Dining Office in Redeker Center to get a UNI ID prior to check-in.

Move-in Day
Move-in on move-in day! Move-in day is the official start of your housing contract. See above for dates. Students will check-in at their dorm's respective Mail & Information Desk.
Individual Early Arrival
There is no individual early arrival for spring, other than the option for students from our partner schools whose spring semester begins earlier than UNI. All other spring contracts can begin moving in the Friday prior to the start of the spring semester.
Group Early Arrival
Groups requesting early arrival should send their request to housing@uni.edu. Include student names, student ID numbers, date of arrival, and account to bill.
