Lawther Hall

Welcome to Lawther Hall.

Lawther Hall is the oldest residence hall on campus, built in 1940, and updated in 2017. Lawther holds a mix of traditional and suite-style rooms with both private and semi-private bathrooms and is home to both first-year and upper division students. The opportunity for a co-ed room/suite is available. Lawther sits on the north side of campus in close proximity to Schindler Education Center, the Towers and Rialto dining hall.

First-Year Experience

These communities house first-year students (new to college) and help enhance entering students’ transition to UNI while creating a peer reference group and academic experience and enhancing students’ academic and social success.

Returner

‌‌These communities provide an opportunity for our returning, second-year-plus students to interact with other upper-division students, live in a supportive environment, and collaborate in their studies.
