Rider Hall

Welcome to Rider Hall.

Rider Hall is a traditional residence hall built in 1961 and sits on the south side of campus as part of the “Quads”. It houses a mix of both first-year and upper division students living in double rooms with a roommate and is home to First-Year Experience and Returner Residential Communities. Meal plans are required for students who live in Rider Hall with easy access to Piazza dining center and Redeker Center, as it is connected by skywalk.

Residential Communities

First-Year Experience

springboard

‌These communities house first-year students (new to college) and help enhance entering students’ transition to UNI while creating a peer reference group, academic experience and enhancing students’ academic and social success.

Returner

upperclass

‌These communities provide an opportunity for our returning, second-year+ students to interact with other upper division students, live in a supportive environment and collaborate in their studies.
