Shull Hall was built in 1964 and sits on the south side of campus as part of the “Quads”. One of UNI’s traditional residence halls, it is home to upper division students living in Transfer and Returner Residential Communities, with a total of 4 houses. To be eligible, students must have at least one year post high school experience (2nd year+ students). Shull is a mixed gender hall, where students live in super single rooms. Meal plans are required for students who live in Shull Hall with easy access to Piazza dining center and Redeker Center, as it is connected by skywalk.
This community provides an excellent opportunity for new transfer students to the University to live in a supportive environment, learn from one another and collaborate in their studies.
These communities provide an opportunity for our returning, second-year+ students to interact with other upper division students, live in a supportive environment and collaborate in their studies.
